Having been the 664th person to look at stagers "other side of logo math" I was compelled to try and design some pipeline maths activities using win95 microworlds. This involves putting some numbers in text boxes, passing then through some hidden text boxes that process these numbers and coming out with a result. The aim of the task is to determine what is the process. No problems setting up these sorts of things with hidden text boxes revealed with mouse clicks on turtles. eg. 5 ( ) 2 = 7 The process is plus You can even setup feedback loops with changing results. My problem is how to setup random processes so I don't have to create too many pages in the projects. Like sometimes 5 ( ) 2 = 10 but other times it is 7 . The operation being product the first time but sum the next. John Lever.
