Try typing EDALL in the bottom of the commander window and hit Enter (or click on Execute). The top portion of almost all the examples explains how to run it. MSWLogo/UCBLogo sorts its procedures by name. To force the procedure that explains how to run it to the top I often call it AAA. You can also run a command called POTS (Print Out TitleS) which lists all the defined procedures. Sometimes you'll see procedures such as GO or MAIN or AAA or you may only see one procedure. But that procedure may require an argument or 2. How do you know what the argument is? The most reliable way to find out is to look at the code. Good code should have comments on how to run it. Remember Logo is not a game it's a (teaching) programming language. The main Idea behind the examples is for you to look at the code. There are ways that you can force the program to run when loaded. I won't cover that here. -- =============================================================== George Mills email: mills@softronix.com http://www.softronix.com The www page contains some very powerful educational software.
