I mentioned before that I have written an article about animated fractals for the Australian Maths Teacher. (I'll publish a website version shortly and post URL here). The editor of the computer section has asked me some technical questions that I am unsure of (one about Windows screen resolution and one about creating animated fractals on the macintosh). Can anyone help? First problem: Screen resolution (transferring to colour print): Hartley Hyde wrote to me: > Now we get to another publishing problem. My only comment: Is the Windows resolution 640x480 pixels (my current setting). How does this translate to dots per inch? Can anyone help? Second problem: Making animated fractals on the Mac > Last night I discovered that my original MacLogo no longer works with the > current version of the Mac operating system, so I will need to try some > different versions. Have Mac users on this list been making animated fractals? If so, how have they been doing it? (he wants to add a piece about how mac users can make animated fractals?) Help on either problem much appreciated. -- Bill Kerr --------------------------------------------------------------- Please post messages to the Logo forum to logo-l@gsn.org.
